6 tips for losing weight by using water

1. Drink plenty of water- our bodies need a lot of water, so we need to keep replenishing with water. Water helps flush away toxin but the more water the better you feel. And remember there are no calories in water. 2. Start your day with a glass of water- one of the first things in the morning you should do is gulp down a cold glass of water. A glass of water lets out your digestive juices and lubricates the insides of your body. 3. Drink a glass of water while eating a meal- this is another way of making yourself full, that way you leave the table feeling full with eating less but feeling the same. With your meal take sips of your water after bits, it will help settle the food faster. 5. Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks-I know its hard to and sodas and other drinks do taste better or go better with certain foods but those drinks have calories unlike water. 6. Include in your diet things that contain more water foods- like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90-95 percent water so there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. So in the end water helps you out by filling you up with less food, helps your body, keeps you hydrated, and water is the easiest weight to lose.

Over the summer I was talking to my high school cross-country coach and he told me similar things about water. A typical person gets around 6-8 hours of sleep at night, so is not drinking water for all of that time. Going 8 hours without water definitely dehydrates the body, so it is a good idea to drink a glass right when you wake up!

I always make sure to drink a class of water before a meal, especially when I go out to dinner to fill myself up before devouring everything infront of me. I have to say it does help minimize your food intake. The importance of water is huge. I usually try to drink 3 nalgenes before running long distance. Nice job.

Great blog and so true! Every affect water has on our bodies is positive. It cleanses us, it can fight fatigue, its 100% natural and chemical free, plus everything you said! Did you know that if your urine is yellow (depending on the darkness) that means you need water? I always need to drink water, if I don't my eyes and face get so puffy and I just feel gross. Pertaining to weight, my mom is 50 years old, in excellent shape, has a ton of energy, and you will never see her without a water bottle in her hand. Drink more!
